About Welcome Friends

With its first visit in January of 1995, Welcome Friends has visited new families in our community with a personal home visit and a packet of information about our community.

We have a two-fold purpose: to welcome new families to the area, and to promote the local, hometown businesses.

Are you new to the Cleveland/
Bradley County Area?

The generous packet includes a city map, gifts and gift certificates from local merchants, and a card holder. In addition, it includes information about the library, where to get your driver's license, where to register to vote, and even whitewater activities.
